Delaney Timlin
Delaney Timlin (Performer) is a 23-year-old dance artist and educator from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She trained for 17 years at Sandra’s School of Dance, in all styles, including acrobatics, multiple styles of ballroom, and contemporary. During that time, she earned multiple national team titles as team leader, performed and volunteered locally, and discovered a passion for teaching children through movement. She’s taught a variety of styles and age groups, including adaptive dance and gymnastics classes for students with special needs. Her love for dance has always been deeply tied to building confidence, creativity, and community. She recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University, where she also continued to pursue dance academically and artistically. She performed in university productions such as Fall Dance Festival and DanceTech, attended the American College Dance Association in 2022, and had the opportunity to work with artists like Jason Samuels Smith and Ballet Lubbock founder Yvonne Racz. She served as Service Chair for the dance honor society, XTE, and continued to grow as both a dancer and leader. After stepping away from formal dance training in 2023 to focus on other studies, she felt like a core part of herself was missing. That realization led her to Aerial Atmosphere in Lubbock, where she reconnected with movement and rediscovered the joy and grounding dance gives. She is thrilled and incredibly grateful to be joining this company—to grow, perform, and share my passion for movement with a new community.
